1937 Photograph of a pair of lovers murdered in Long Island in their car. The murderer then painted their faces with lipstick as a sort of signature. The bodies were removed from the car and put on stretchers which is where this photograph was taken. A rare look into the mind of a killer, this is a fantastic image in great shape that is likely the only one that has survived. Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this is an absolutely incredible work of crime scene photography.
