1928 Photograph of the restaurant in New York City (Lindy's) where gambler and notorious World Series fixer (1919) Arnold Rothstein spent his final evening. He was murdered in New York under mysterious circumstances and his funeral was also somewhat of a celebrity event even though he was a known outlaw and all about scoundrel. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption, this is a poignant image taken nine years after the World Series he tainted by paying off the players! This is the ONLY image of the restaurant where Rothstein spent his final meal we have ever seen.
