Absolutely incredible 1925 photograph of a black man strapped to the famous whipping post in Delaware and taking lashes instead of jail time. While the post was not limited to minority convictions, it is laughable to think justice was handed down equally, especially when the man being whipped in this photo was a black man. A rare image that is the first we have seen in any form, issued by the International News and stamped on the back. A sad part of our history which is important to never forget.
