In 1954 the newest sensation to hit the world of photography was the "photofax" which was essentially a fax machine for photographs needing no silver or gelatin in the binding process. This was supposed to revolutionize the industry… it did not, and as such anything associated with this process is rare. The offered photograph shows the very first ever photofax being received by the Associated Press in Michigan. A rare piece of history and a colelctible piece of memorabilia to photo colelctors, this is a unique new discovery and stamped on the back by a local photographer from the Detroit News. Offered here for the first time ever.
