Lot Description  

1933 Photograph of famous scientist Albert Einstein as he hangs out in Belgium with Professor Hans Meyer after fleeing Nazi Germany fearing that he would be forced to create a bomb for Hitler. A rare photo in fine condition issued by Acme and with a full paper caption on the back that talks extensively about the situation facing Einstein and the climate in war-torn Europe. Photo presents well with a crease on the lower left corner.
