Original c. 1949 photograph of comic strip creator Charles Schulz and his dog which became the inspiration for "snoopy" in his Peanuts comic strips. A rare image taken shortly after he became famous in the 1950's and in great shape, this is the only image of Schulz with his dog we have ever seen!
