The 1939 film "Gone With The Wind" was the most famous and celebrated motion picture of all time. It was adapted from the best selling novel and it was anticipated like few other movies before or since. In this image the newspapers were given a sneek peak into the film as a photograph was released titled, "Scarlett O'Hara Comes to Life" that showed the actress Vivien Leigh in costume for the first time working on the film behind the scenes with Director Victor Flemming who is giving her some instructions. Original studio images from the film are prized by colelctors but this is the first example of a photograph from behind the scenes we have ever seen! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well.
