1928 Incredible silver gelatin photograph of Greta Garbo and her real life lover John Gilbert engaged in a passionate moment on screen from the film "A Woman of Affairs." A rare image that also captures the director Clarence Brown and the cameraman from slightly behind the scenes making it the only one of it's kind we have handled from Garbo. Stamped on the back by Underwood and Underwood, this is a beautiful original that presents well with a corner chip on the lower right and a few small creases. Easily one of the finest behind the scenes images we have ever handled and offered here for the first time ever from the archives of Underwood.
