Lot Description  

1927 Photograph of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Tony Lazzeri as he picks out his bat before approaching the plate. An exceptional image from Underwood and Underwood, it is highly likely that this is a Charles Conlon photo as he was taking photographs of the Yankees in preparation for the World Series at this time for Underwood and Underwood! Condition is exceptional and the image is one of the best of Lazzeri we have seen!
