1927 Photograph of Donie Bush, the manager of the National League Champion Pittsburgh Pirates as they got set to battle the famous Bronx Bombers in the fall classic. While the Pirates would get swept, they faced the best team in baseball history so we will give them a pass and still consider them one of the best teams of the decade. A clear and bold example, issued by Pacific and Atlantic and stamped on the back, the photo presents well with a crease on the far right side near the border.
