1902 Full body posed photogaph of young baseball star Christy Mathewson at the ballpark in full uniform. One of his greatest images ever taken, this would be a $20,000 original with this example being a c. 1960's re-strike off the original negative, developed in a dark-room and not computer generated and paper has some age to it. A nice alternative to a high dollar photo with a nice look and feel to it. Photo was used in the archives of the Sporting News and comes glued to thicker board and bears their stamp on the back.
