Large 1950 photograph of four American pitchers who had jumped to the Cuban Winter Leagues to earn some extra money, early in their careers. Included most importantly is young Hall of Famer Hoyt Wilhelm at far left, taken two full years before his rookie baseball cards. Despite some wear and creasing, this is likely the only example that exists and the figure of Wilhelm is particularly strong!
