Sweeping 1934 photograph of Lou Gehrig from the New York Yankees rounding third base after belting a home run at Cleveland Municipal Staium. A fantastic image of Gehrig completely airborn and about to come down on third base with his head down in humility which was the Gehrig way of going about his business. Stamped on the back by Wide World Photos and with exceptional clarity, the image presents better than the technical grade which would be essentially perfect but for a small rip at the top.
