The relationship between Nazi Germany and the Czech Republic during WWII is still open to debate today. Essentially the Czech's surrendered without a fight in order to protect their culture and civilization rather than fight. Here the alliance is set between Hitler and General Jan Syrovy. Germany announced they would protect the Czech's in exchange for a essentially surrendering. A rare image from the moment the deal became official, stamped on the back by the Associated Press and in nice shape with note to a small corner crease being the only real flaw.
