1942 Statuesque batting photo of Yankees Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio from the New York Yankees at the ballpark. A famous image that we have seen in publication numerous times with this being one of the only original examples known in the hobby and it presents well with a crease on the lower left being the only flaw. Acme stamp on the back dated to the mid/late 1940's putting it right on the edge of our five year window but it was certainly issued in the 1940's so we feel comfortable with the "vintage 1" designation. One of his best batting photos out there.
