Somewhat unusual 1940 photograph from the day the Detroit Tigers clinched the American League pennant showing Hank Greenberg taking a wheel barrow full of fruit that had been showered down upon him back to the dugout. It appears this was some type pf planned event and everyone seems to be smiling, including Hank so it must have been a good event. Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this is the only example of this photograph we have handled.
