1925 Large posed action photo of Jim "Easy" Poole in full uniform with the Philadelphia Athletics. He was actually a really good player posting averages in his first two seasons of .298 and .294 before slipping a bit in 1927 and never playing again in the majors but would play a total of 26 seasons in the minor leagues! By all accounts, Poole had well over 3000 hits as a minor league player making him one of only a handful of players to have such a prodigious career at any level! The offered image captures Poole as a young rookie straight out of the PCL (where he hit .353 for Portland) and wearing his A's jersey proudly and showing his prowess on the diamond. Photo has some editorial marks but it looks great, issued by NEA and stamped on the back.
