In 1924 the National Photo Co. commemorated the Washington Senators' World Series title with a set of real photographs, slightly larger than baseball card size and each with a facsimile signature of the player on the front. While not listed in the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards, these are every bit part of a rare baseball card set despite being real photographs. An undervalued item that is a fantastic cross-collectible as they are indeed actual photographs from the National Photo Company, but someday will be recognized for the baseball cards they are. The offered lot pictures pitcher Fred Marberry and although not stamped, it is from the album used to store these cards/photos and has some scrapbook evidence on the back.
