1953 Artistic action photograph of Minneapolis Lakers big-man George Mikan laying a ball up under the basket as he continues his domination of the league and on this day, Milwaukee! Clean and clear, this is a tough early action photo of the first superstar professional basketball player. Stamped on the back with the date and a newspaper caption on the back, the photo is actually in nice shape with note to some age related crazing of the surface. Absolutely one of the better action photographs of George Mikan we have handled!
