Bobby Jones won so many titles and his grand slam of 1930 is well documented. It would seem normal to think he won several British Amateur titles, but in reality he won exactly ONE, the one he needed to win in 1930! Pictured here blasting out of the sand at St. Andrews in his match with Roger Wethered on the final day, this is the rarest of all events to find images of from his Grand Slam season. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption, this is a fine image in pretty nice shape with a couple wrinkles at the top and a crease on the lower right. This is the only example of this photograph we have ever seen.
