1938 Rare photograph from one of the most obscure fights of Joe Louis' storied career, the bout with Nathan Mann at Madison Square Garden. This was not seen as a major challenge for Louis, but was a tune up fight for his rematch with Max Schmeling later in the year and in fact Louis would knock out Mann. Images from this fight are very rare and this is a beautiful example issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well.
