Lot Description  

Large 1919 dated photograph of boxer Jess Willard from just days before he lost his Heavyweight Championship title to Jack Dempsey in Ohio. One of the largest portrait photos of any fighter from the era we have encountered, it is fitting as Willard was one of the largest fighters of all time! A unique new discovery from NEA and stamped on the back, this is being offered here for the first time ever!
