While "The Catch" is one of the greatest moments in Baseball history, VERY few original photos of the moment were taken and even fewer exist. This example is a clean view of the moment it all happened with Mays holding the ball a second after the catch, hat falling off, and starting his turn toward the infield to throw the ball back in. Photo is in pretty nice shape with some editorial markings and it comes with a full letter from PSA (Type 3).
