Really incredible image of 'Ole Pete showing off the pitching arm and form he used to throw his fastball back in the old days. You can see the spectators (of all ages) mesmerized by the former ballplayer. In addition to being a great baseball image it also demonstrates a time before TV and computers how the masses entertained themselves. What we wouldn't give to be in attendance and hear the accounts of his triumphs from his own mouth. Really nice condition with period label and Acme/NEA stamps on back, this is a poignant piece of history and the only time this image has been offered individually.
