1936 Collection of three photographs of the same play at the plate during the World Series showing Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio from the New York Yankees showing off his hustle by avoiding the tag of Harry Danning of the Giants and sliding safely home. One of the most underrated aspects of DiMaggio's game was his hustle and drive to win and these photos capture this beautifully. The first is a large (unique) photo from the New York Daily News that has a full paper caption on the back wile the other two are sequential images from the International News and Wide World Photos. It is highly unusual to have three images of the same play from three different photographers and only a major moment from a stage like the World Series would create such a scenario! All three fantastic photographs for one bid.
