1921 Stunning portrait photograph of Hall of Famer Hugh Jennings from the New York Giants, posing in uniform shortly after being hired by his old friend John McGraw. Jennings was more than just a coach as McGraw had failing health and needed someone to fill in for him on a regular basis which Jennings did masterfully to a tune of a .697 winning percentage in the games he took the lead (much higher than McGraw's percentage in the same years). While it is impossible to tell for certain, this is likely the image used to make his W515 card with artistic enhancements. Stamped on the back by the International News and in great shape, this is one of his finest portrait photographs ever taken!
