Interesting photograph done by photographer Louis Van Oeyen as a sort of retrospective near the end of his life where he took photographs of the front pages of the newspapers of the 1919 World Series because he took the images used in the papers! The offered image is of the October 2, 1919 World Series preview showing the rival managers of Kid Gleason from the White Sox and Pat Moran of the Reds. A cool item from the most famous World Series of all time and from one of the top baseball photographers ever. Done in the 1930's and stamped on the back by Van Oeyen!
