Incredible 1913 photograph of the street outside Shibe Park packed all the way along the outfield wall with fans wanting to catch even the slightest glimpse of the events of the World Series against the New York Giants. Good news for these boys, the Athletics would win! A clear and bold photograph from George Grantham Bain and it packs tons of detail like cops chatting with fans and the line of folks wanting to get into the game. Photo is mounted but is only loosely attached so the Bain stamp on the back can be viewed.
