Interesting 1913 photograph of suffragettes demonstrating in the streets of London as women wave signs and banners to their cause. What makes this photo particularly cool are the couple of men who appear to be resisting the changes and are waving anti-suffrage signs including one that reads simply, "Flee from the Wrath to Come" hinting that a world in which women voted was not ideal! This is the first photograph we have ever seen showing men protesting suffragettes and as such it is an important part of history. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and taken from their archives, this is being offered here for the first time ever!
