1920's Extremely rare photograph of singer and dancer Josephine Baker on stage and performing in Paris. Issued by a French News Service and with the text on the back written in that language, another caption has been added in English that explains she would soon be leaving for a tour in Austria! This is one of only a handful of original images of Baker we have ever handled as most are re-strikes or off duplicate negatives. Photo presents well with note to a corner chip on the upper left.
