1926 Early photograph of one of the most intriguing sex symbols of all time, Mae West. She did not become a Hollywood Icon until the 1930's and at the time this photo was taken she was a controversial playwright and was in a court-room after being arrested on morals charges for her play "Sex". Image is beautiful and extremely early issued by Underwood and Underwood and with a full paper caption on the back, the image is great as West stands looking penitent in front of a judge with other cast members from her play! This is the only example of this photo or any other image from this moment we have ever seen!
