1921 Photograph of young actress and free spirit Virginia Rappe issued after she had been found dead in a Hollywood hotel rented by comedian Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle. The result of the incident was the first widely publicized sex scandal in Hollywood history and one that destroyed Arbuckle's career. The offered image of Rappe is the most seductive of her we have ever seen and it presents in nice shape. One of the few originals we have ever seen, issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. Her best photo we have ever seen and it shows the free spirit that made her a regular at all the swanky Hollywood parties!
