1916 Silver gelatin photograph of actress Mae Marsh from her role as the Wild Girl in the film "The Wild Girl of the Sierras" and wearing a really crazy costume. Dated on the back, this is a very early piece of Hollywood history. Marsh was the favorite of DW Griffith and was the star of the controversial film "Birth of a Nation." Photo presents well with note to some wear and light creasing with a rip on the far left side (not bad).
