Beautiful 1928 profile photograph of the great amateur golfer from Utah, George Von Elm. His duels with Bobby Jones at amateur tournaments in the mid 1920's were legendary and in 1926 he finally knocked Bobby from his "Amateur Throne" in front of a crowd of 10,000 spectators. The offered image is stamped on the back by NEA and in nice shape overall, likely a unique survivor!
