Lot Description  

1934 Portrait photograph of the youngest superstar on the Gas House Gang Cardinals, Joe Medwick. Stamped on the back by the Moffett-Russell studio, this is from the Sporting News archives and is being offered here publicly for the first time ever. The condition is nice overall with a touch of handling wear from being in a functioning newspaper. One of Medwick's better early images.
