Rare 1920 photograph before the start of Game One of the World Series capturing perfectly the festivities and interaction between the players and newspaper reporters and photographers on the field. Indians players are being interviewed and photographed while other men in suits simply watch the players warm up. Camera equipment is set up and equipment is strewn on the ground, all captured with chaotic perfection in this rare (possibly unique) image. The image is a silver gelatin photo that presents in nice shape overall and issued by NEA with a stamp and some handwritten notations on the back. Note that the image was reversed intentionally by the newspaper so it could be used for engraving.
