Rare panoramic silver gelatin photograph of game action from the 1920 World Series featuring Larry Gardiner of the Cleveland Indians caught off second base. The World Series of 1920 is one of the most popular off time with the Indians being perennial doormats and having suffered tragedy during the season as player Ray Chapman was killed by a pitch. They would win the series and in the process become one of the most storied teams of the 20th century. Previously unknown and recently discovered photo is an extreme rarity with a clear image considering the distance this image was photographed from and the primitive equipment used. Photo is in nice shape with note to one crease on the lower left corner area.
