OK, So this photo has nothing to do with people flocking to buy baseball cards at the Boston Store, but it does show the huge department store building in Chicago where the cards were given away and distributed to boys about the time period the cards were being produced which is a cool piece of baseball card history. In reality, the image shows people flocking to the streets of Chicago to celebrate the end of WWI in 1918. Who knowns though, maybe someone here bought the last set before Christmas! A cool image for several reasons, not the least of which is the baseball card connection, it presents well and bears the stamps on the back from Underwood and Underwood!
