Vintage c. 1910 advertising trade card for the photographic studio of Carl J. Horner in Boston. A cool piece of history, the image uses a small boy as it's subject, but Horner was known for his exquisite portraits of the greatest baseball players of the era that were used in countless publications and baseball cards! Horner photographs are treasured today and this is one of the few trade cards of his that exist as most photographers of the era relied on their work to be their primary source of advertising. Condition and quality are both outstanding!
