1908 Panoramic photograph of the Giants v. Cubs game from August 30 (as the pennant race heated up). Taken by George Lawrence who was a pioneer of large scale photography at the time, this is a smaller version of his normal 3-4 foot long examples but completely vintage to 1908! Silver gelatin masterpiece is one of the greatest images from the era we have ever seen with a sweeping view of the ballpark that is unparalleled in other images of the era. The quality of the photo is great considering how these were constructed and the condition is pretty nice with a tiny rip on the top border. A masterpiece of vintage photography!
