Huge 1905 silver gelatin cabinet photograph of the Yale University baseball team in uniform and posing at the studio (likely Pach Brothers). Yale was one of the top teams of the era and they battled Princeton for the title in this season. An impressive work, baseball photographs were rarely made in this size unless they were a presentational piece issued to the University of members of the team. Despite some glue residue at the edges, this is a high grade example as the photograph itself is only affected at the extreme edges. Crystal clear one of the highest quality team photographs we have ever handled! There is some clear tape on the back of the clear mounts from a vintage display but this does not affect the front at all.
