Large and impressive 1952 photograph of the young stars of the New York Yankees posing with their bats at the ballpark and with Yankee Stadium forming the perfect backdrop. Led by Mickey Mantle entering just his second season in baseball, this is a crystal clear piece of photography that we have never seen in any form. One of the largest early Mantle photographs we have ever seen and despite some creasing at the corners (typical of oversized images coming from newspaper archives) this presents beautifully.
