1887 Studio cabinet photograph from Gray of Boston picturing Red Stockings pitcher Kid Madden in uniform. This is the image that was used to make his Old Judge baseball cards and this is one of the only original studio images known to exist. The mount has some chipping and a pinhole at the top but the quality of the photograph is great and it is a rare survivor!
