1927 Rare photograph of Al "Scarface" Capone as the Chicago gangster was snapped in a rare picture in court. He was reclusive and rarely photographed before his 1931 trial on tax evasion making this one of the earliest photographs of him we have ever seen in any form. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and with a full paper caption on the bottom. Off the original negative and just shot quickly indoors, what the quality of the image is lacking, the rarity more than makes up for!
