John F. Kennedy was assassinated in November 1963, after the baseball season had ended. The Red Sox had all winter to mourn the loss of their native son before finally deciding to honor him on opening day at Fenway Park the next year, 1964. On hand were his famous brothers Robert and Edward along with AL President Joe Cronin, Stan Musial and two of JFK's sisters. A poignant image in pretty nice shape with some handling wear from publication, this is a touching reminder of the Kennedy family and their love of the Boston Red Sox.
