WWII Was the first major conflict that was documented all along the way. Franklin Roosevelt thought it was important for moral and to raise money for the public to see the images of their boys fighting and a new breed of heroes were born, the war photographers! Here we see two unnamed men standing in the Pacific in full gear and showing off their cameras, one is a film camera to create movies and the other for still images. The photographers themselves rarely were seen on the other side of the lens and this is one of the best WWII images of the photographers we have ever seen!
