America was obsessed with John Dillinger for a short time in the early 1930's. He was everywhere and even after he was gunned down, they could not get enough. This prompted an enterprising man to put together a vaudeville tour of Dillinger's relatives to appear on stage and tell stories about their famous kin. The offered photograph shows the father and siblings of the outlaw in front of the marquee in Indianapolis where they were set to perform. A rare photo with a clear and bold image that is an interesting piece of American history. Issued by the International News and despite having another thin piece of paper glued to the back you can see the stamp through it.
