Lot Description  

1938 Press Photo of the Hero Douglas "Wrong Way" Corrigan as he receives a heroes welcome after his triumphant return to Brooklyn, New York. Corrigan made one of the first Transcontinental Flights by accident "or so the story went" as he thought he was heading West but ended up making the historic voyage. A large photograph in great shape from the International News and with a full paper caption on the back.
