Lot Description  

Incredible 1927 silver gelatin photograph of Jack Dempsey, photographed for the FIRST TIME after losing to Gene Tunney and sheepishly making a public appearance to receive a large trophy. Stamped on the back by the photographer, there is a crazy note that talks about how his face seems undamaged from the fight! Despite some wear and a rip on the far left, this photo is crystal clear and looks amazing.
