1950 Large action photograph of Lynwood "Schoolboy" Rowe, the pitching sensation of 1934 with the Detroit Tigers and one of the best in the American League for several years. A really good pitcher, few people realize he hung around until after WWII and even into the 1950's in the minor leagues. This is the only image of his as a member of the San Diego Padres we have ever seen and it is stamped on the back by the original photographer William Rogers!
